Morning folks! So glad to see you back.

This week we continue where we last left off with my historical romance wip Midnight Blaze. Enjoy!

“Why in damnation have we stopped?” Victor yelled. He reached for the door, as it began to open on its own, only to find himself tumbling down head first, kissing the dirt.
Charlotte blocked out the string of curses that followed and pressed her back against the other door. That too, also opened, and a tall shadowy figure blocked any sunshine from entering. A large hand, sheathed in fine leather riding gloves reached out, luring her to safety – or so she hoped.
